Projects

TA Setting, Graph preferences and Run a Test settings are embedded for extra security.
Report, Results and Macro files can be automatically opened to collect data when the test has been analysed.
Wizard assists through each step of setting up a project.
A project can be made into a Program Manager Icon to simplify loading.

Texture Expert has a built-in spreadsheet for calculated data, results, graphs, raw data and built-in graph

After each test the program automatically: (i) saves the tests as archive files, (ii) analyzes the tests with a macro and post the results automatically into a spreadsheet with ongoing statistical analysis, and (iii) folds the tests into an ongoing average file.

Unlimited zooming capability by highlighting areas of interest with a mouse or by a clicking on a pre-set grid.

Information and on products and probes can be attached to tests so that items such as stress/strain relationships can be automatically calculated.

Texture Expert allows you to analyze a group of tests by clicking on an macro icon.

Copy graphs, raw data, or results files from the spreadsheet into any Windows compatible word processor or spreadsheet. Thus presentations, poster sessions, and papers can incorporate multiple graphics with ease.

Establish "Projects" comprised of test set ups, display method, groupings of preferred macros, and results file templates.

TPA formulas and the layout of TPA results files can be customized.

The forces measured can be in grams, kilos, pounds, ounces, Newtons, Kilos/mm2, MPa, N/ mm2, pounds/ in2, kilos/mm, N/mm, pounds/mm.

Distances can be in millimeters, centimeters, meters, inches, feet, or % strain

Security

Security provided via the Administrator who creates Users.
Users can be given or restricted access to almost every command individually.
Files can be assigned as Public - for access by any user, Protected - for limited access by any user other than the creator, Private - access by the creator only.

Miscellaneous

Complete control of the probe between tests including up to 5 memorised positions. These can also be accessed via the Macro. (Requires Version 6 or later TA Firmware).
User Functions which provide access to a Results spreadsheet, Report and a Macro from a single menu command.
DDE support.

SOFTWARE NOTICES:

On NEW computers with Dual Core Processors - Texture Expert Exceed does not work consistently.

On NEW computers with Hyperthreading- Texture Expert Exceed can work if the hyperthreading is disabled - which can be done at the BIOS level.

Windows 2000 Service pack 3 and Texture Expert Exceed version 2.3 or later.
Microsoft released Service Pack 3 for Windows 2000 on Aug 1, 2002. Installation of this service pack with WinDriver 5.05 may result in STOP 50 blue screen on some machines. Please download the following new WINDRVR.SYS file and copy it to your Windows\System32\Drivers directory, replacing the one that is already there, before you upgrade to service pack 3.
Download new WINDRVR.SYS file or WINDRVR.ZIP format from SMS.

If you already have Windows 2000 service pack 3 installed then make sure you copy the new WINDRVR.SYS over the old one before you reboot the PC.
