Texture Technologies is a company which has specialized exclusively in the measurement of physical parameters of a wide variety of products since 1989. Its industry experience has spread from the gel industry to throughout the pharmaceutical, adhesive, cosmetic and food industries. Extensive references are available in every industry sector. Texture Technologies helps its clients optimize their test methods and procedures from among the hundreds of test paramenters and probe options available to them. TTC Principals
Boine Johnson, Chairman of Texture Technologies Corp, Scarsdale, New York. He is a graduate of Williams College and has an MBA from Harvard University . He has held R&D and senior management positions with AMF, GE, Perkin-Elmer and Technicon. He owned Voland Corporation which manufactured high-precision gas balances and many other instruments. At Voland and thereafter at Texture Technologies he initially sold hundreds of the Voland-Stevens LFRA TA-1000 Texture Analyzer. When his clients needed more capacity, accuracy, functionality and computerized interface then the Stevens company could provide Mr. Johnson worked with Stable Micro Systems on the prototype of the TA.XT2 Texture Analyzer. Over the last twenty years as SMS has developed the pre-eminent texture measurement instruments and software, Mr. Johnson built a customer support & applications driven distribution system in North America. Marc Johnson, is President of Texture Technologies. He was graduated from Hobart College, and received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Johnson has been a frequent lecturer at AACC and IFT sponsored seminars and meetings, as well as many university seminars dealing with texture and adhesive measurement.
