Support: Texture Analyzer Hardware Upgrades

Texture Technologies Corporation (TTC) is the exclusive North American distributor of Stable Micro Systems' (SMS) family of Texture Analyzers, texture measurement instruments, and texture analysis equipment. Our instruments, probes, fixtures, peripheral devices, software, and other accessories are designed for forward compatibility so our texture testing products are easily upgradable.

From the TA.XT2 Texture Analyzer (Serial numbers under 3000)

The TA.XT2 Texture Analyzer can be upgraded to a TA.XTPlus Texture Analyzer. The upgrade does include the Texture Exponent software. This upgrade takes 3 days and is accomplished in our NY office.

The TA.XT2 Texture Analyzer can be upgraded to a TA.XT2i Texture Analyzer (to take advantage of the interchangeable load cells and complete load cell capacity in compression & tension). This upgrade does not include any software upgrades. This upgrade takes 6 weeks.

From the TA.XT2i Texture Analyzer (Serial numbers 3000+)

The TA.HD and the TA.HDi Texture Analyzers are not upgradeable to the TA.HDPlus.
