We’re excited to welcome not one, but TWO new team members! To prepare for David Larson’s upcoming retirement, we’ve brought Sydney Lavan, PhD, on board to work with our Midwest territories. As a PhD physical chemist, Sydney specializes in the intersection of science and technology and real-world application. She has worked in academic research and laboratory science, and her experience lets her explore a problem from all sides: the initial question, the expected workflow, and the measurement itself. She’s looking forward to helping teams develop test methods, interpret results, and turn data into decisions about formulation, quality, and performance. Sidney’s currently settling in and getting to know her clients, so feel free to reach out with any questions or just to say hello!

We’re also welcoming Michael Rodriguez Torrent, our new Technical Service Associate! Michael will be working closely with our Regional Managers and our National Service manager to ensure training and support for our customers. He’ll also be conducting tests with our instruments and software and helping to create new application studies. Michael’s looking forward to chatting with our customers and learning what you need and want to learn!
