Background

The TA.XTPlus Connect Texture Analyzer was used to measure the hardness, brittleness, toughness, and crispiness/crunchiness of three varieties of dog kibble. Samples tested include Rachel Ray Nutrish (Real Beef, Pea, & Brown Rice Kibble), Nutro Wholesome Essentials (Beef & Brown Rice with Ancient Grains Kibble), and Purina Beneful Originals (Real Beef with Spinach, Peas, & Carrots).
