We were delighted to see ground breaking innovator Impossible Foods’ in the news last month. Impossible Foods has developed a plant-based “meat” product that sizzles and “bleeds” in a way that closely resembles beef.

Impossible Foods has begun a voluntary dialog with the FDA to work to establish the safety of its plant-based heme protein. “Even though Impossible Foods is compliant with all regulations, the company is having the U.S. Food and Drug Administration review the product’s safety in the interest of transparency.”
